Virginia could lift most of its COVID-19 pandemic restrictions by mid-June according to Gov. Northam’s office. News Release
May 15: Virginia is scheduled to relax some restrictions. Restaurants may return to selling alcohol after midnight and dining room closures will no longer be required between midnight and 5AM. Up to 100 people at indoor gatherings. Up to 250 people at outdoor gatherings. Entertainment venues operating at 50% capacity indoors (1,000 people max), and 50% outdoors (with no cap).
June 15: Social distancing requirements and restrictions on gathering sizes could be lifted entirely, provided coronavirus cases continue to drop and the pace of vaccinations does not let up.
● The mask mandate is likely to remain.
