The next General Meeting will feature representatives from the Arlington Police Department to discuss crime trends and answer questions and address concerns that you may have. We'll also hear a report from the Lee Highway Alliance on the results from the community meeting (charette) held last November to gather input from residents and business owners about our vision for the future of Lee Highway from Rosslyn to the Fairfax County line. LV Holiday Party, Dec 13, 4pm

Fall Leaf Collection

Biodegradable bag leaf collection begins November 2 and runs through January 8, 2016 (M-F including holidays, except Christmas and New Year's Day). Leaf bags are collected on the next business day after your regular trash collection day. Always use biodegradable paper bags, no plastic. LVCA General Meeting, Oct 12, 8pm

Come join us on Columbus Day (Monday, October 12) to hear from and ask questions of all four County Board candidates and both School Board candidates. They are Audrey Clement (Green Party), Katie Cristol (Democrat), Christian Dorsey (Democrat), and Mike McMenamin (Independent). The School Board candidates are Reid Goldstein and Brooklyn Kinlay. LVCA General Meeting, Sept 14, 8pm

Come join us to hear from and ask questions of County Board Member John Vihstadt. In addition, Captain Kamran Afzal of the Arlington County Police will give the quarterly crime report as well as tips to avoid having you or your property be a victim of a crime. The meeting will be held at 8pm at the Lyon Village Community House.

LVCA General Meeting, May 11, 8pm

The final General Meeting before the summer break will feature the election of new LVCA Executive Committee members for the 2015 – 2016 year and a presentation from the Arlington County Police. The police will provide an update on crime stats/upcoming events, a representative from the Emergency Communications Center will discuss the citizen/dispatch communication protocol, and an officer from the Midnight Patrol that patrols Lyon Village will speak. The meeting will be held at the Lyon Village Community House.
