Governance
The Lyon Village Citizens' Association (LVCA) is a neighborhood civic association that provides various services to the residents of Lyon Village.
General Membership meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 8:00 PM in the Lyon Village Community House from September through May. Meetings typically feature presentations on topics of interest to Lyon Village residents, for example: remodeling, development and zoning issues, neighborhood conservation, and debates between candidates running in local elections. Occasionally, General Membership meetings are cancelled or rescheduled to a weekend so we can have a social event, such as our annual December Holiday Party, a concert by a local band, or a potluck dinner.

Executive Committee meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 8:00 PM in the Lyon Village Community House. At these meetings, the 13 elected officers and appointed committee chairs and representatives discuss issues and make plans for General Membership meetings and events. Members are encouraged to come to the meeting and join in discussions, as appropriate. However, voting is limited to the LVCA Executive Committee.
The Lyon Village Citizens' Association will continue to be effective as long as we have a large and active membership. Annual dues is $7 for an individual membership and $10 for a household of two or more persons. LVCA dues are due once per year. Current residents are asked to pay dues at the beginning of each fiscal year in September. New residents are asked to pay their dues upon moving into Lyon Village. LVCA dues may be paid by check or online by following the link from the Dues page.
